Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Citygate Exclusive Development Co., Ltd. (“Citygate”, “we”, “us”), Kamala, Kathu, Phuket 83150, Thailand. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”). You can contact us about privacy at info@citygatephuket.com.

When you send the contact form, we collect:

• your name and email address;
• the message you write (and anything you choose to include in it, such as a phone number);
• the page address the form was sent from and the date and time it was received.

If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or Facebook instead, we receive the details you share through that channel. We do not ask for sensitive personal data — please do not include it in your message.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.

• To answer your enquiry and send the information you ask for (prices, availability, sale kit, viewings) — because you asked us to, as a step before possibly entering into a contract (PDPA section 24(3)).
• To follow up on your enquiry and keep a record of our conversations — our legitimate interest in running our sales enquiries (section 24(5)).
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse — our legitimate interest (section 24(5)).
• To meet legal obligations, where a law requires us to keep or disclose information (section 24(6)).

We will only send you news or promotions about other projects if you ask us to or give your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing info@citygatephuket.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• our sales team, who handle your enquiry;
• service providers that process data for us: Google (form records and email notifications), Vercel (website hosting) and our email hosting provider;
• authorities or other parties where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Thailand (for example in the United States or Europe). When that happens we rely on the providers’ standard contractual and security safeguards, as permitted under PDPA section 29.

The location map is provided by Google Maps and loads from Google when you view the page. The project video is provided by YouTube and loads only when you press “Watch Video” (using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode). WhatsApp and Facebook links open those services. These providers may collect data under their own privacy policies.

We keep enquiry data up to 2 years after our last contact with you, then delete or anonymise it. If you go on to buy or reserve a unit, we keep the data needed for that purchase for as long as the law requires.

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

• access your personal data and receive a copy;
• ask us to correct it or keep it up to date;
• ask us to delete it, or to restrict how we use it;
• object to our use of it, including for marketing;
• receive it in a commonly used electronic format, or have it sent to another organisation;
• withdraw any consent you have given;
• complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand.

To use any of these rights, email info@citygatephuket.com. We will reply within 30 days, as required by law.

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it took effect.
